Research priorities identified by dairy farmers and the dairy industry focus on improving the efficiency of Canadian dairy farms, improving animal health, comfort and well-being, maintaining environmentally sensitive milk production and optimizing the genetic selection of cattle so that they can benefit from better health and an increased number of years that they are active in the herd.
